A Profile of Bianca by Leonell Garcia

Bianca Antonette Paras is a character well-known and recognized in wherever places she goes. Back in junior high at Jon Baptist School located at Caloocan, she was established as the dependable and trustworthy ate, guiding her juniors in ways she can. However in Saint Paul Pasig Senior High, she faced the problem of dealing with fake friends and finding her own circle of friends, one can she call her own. Today, she enjoys the company of two friends from Saint Paul Pasig in the comfort of their Katipunan dormitory. Handing with newfound freedom, together they confront the difficulty of financial choices and her own personal preference. Used to having an adult supervise her, she adjusts to the lifestyle wherein no one has to remind her of her own necessities. As well as missing her aunt who lives in Ortigas, who acts as her mother figure. All at the same time enjoying the company of her friends through weekly hangouts enjoying restaurants and nearby gastropubs, among other activities.

Bianca is currently a sophomore in the Ateneo de Manila University, majoring in Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, with tracks in Art Management and Communication. She defines Art Management as her own way to enjoy modern art, dealing with philosophical art as well as historical art. And as for her track in Communication, she describes it as a very useful course, wherein she excels in speaking. Other than that, Bianca also excels in her academics. She has been on the dean’s list for two semesters in a row. With the guidance and assistance of the helpful Interdisciplinary Studies Department, it is certain that Bianca will continue to flourish and grow within the premises of her Major, continuing academic excellence as well as being a person everyone can rely on.
