Ateneo Dance Sports Club Appoints Promotion Officer

The Ateneo Dance Sport Club is currently holding rehearslas and recruitment for the incoming academic year 2019-2020. Martina Balanza, the newly appointed promotions officer aims to scout for enough members to enter competitions such as the UAAP and plans to do so via the club's social media which has been inactive since last year. Balanza admitted that it has been a while since the club has had enough members to enter a competition. This is apparent in the absence of Ateneo in the roster of competitiors for the Ballroom event for UAAP Season 81, which includes rivals such as UP, DLSU and UST among others.

Currently, the club is at around 7 members, requiring 8 pairs to be elligible in competitions. However the low membership will not hinder their return guest performances at Rhythm-in-Blues (RiB), an annual dance competition in Ateneo, and Pasinaya, a cultural show held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Both events will be held late this year.
